Earlier this week at #HM25, our Chief Product and Strategy Officer Ravi Kunju joined Kevin O'Donovan to discuss our exciting collaboration with Siemens Digital Industries Software. He highlights three key strengths we bring to the table: ✅ Our industry-leading #simulation portfolio ✅ Geometric deep learning that connects physics with #AI ✅ A powerful #dataanalytics fabric that weaves digital threads through graph data and semantics Together with Siemens, we’re turning bold ideas into manufacturing-ready designs. Watch the clip below to learn more ⬇️ #OnlyForward
Technology Evangelist, "Bridging the gap" between tech hype & reality | Technology Advocate | Advisor | Scout | Speaker | Moderator ... #EnergyTransition | #DigitalTwin | #IndustrialMetaverse | #IndustrialAI
Siemens at #HM25 ... "𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 ... 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬." ... Ravi Kunju @ Altair So what is #Altair bringing to #Siemens? ✔️ "First, 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 #𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 ... Altair has been leaders in optimization technology, topology optimization ... we also have the broadest portfolio of manufacturing simulation products ... we bring sheet metal forming simulation ... we understand the process ... We bring casting simulation ... we bring injection molding simulation ... extrusion, both polymer and metal extrusion simulation ... we bring polyfoaming, foaming simulation" ✔️ "The 2nd thing we bring is also our ability to connect all these dots and create geometric deep learning with #physics #AI ... 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ... so from a cocoon of an idea, you can get a butterfly" "So we need to connect all the dots, as Roland Busch talks about in #Siemens, about the #DigitalThreads ... and that's where we bring in the ability to connect geometric deep learning, so that companies who have done this simulation over the ages, can create AI models out of what they've already done in a #spatial way.” ✔️ And third ... “the other layer that we bring is the data analytics with our data fabric ... 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚, 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, and things like that ... where we feel that the AI data fabric that we bring will connect the digital threads in more ways that you can do before. It dove-tails perfectly with Siemens, because, their tentacles are in the design and in manufacturing, and we bring the thread, high performance computing, everything ... it's a perfect marriage. 𝑊𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑒𝑟 𝑒𝑥𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑐𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑢𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟... 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑒𝑥𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑢𝑠" Following on from Monday's Press conference, where Cedrik Neike called out how Altair fill out their "Comprehensive Digital Twin" capabilities, I met up with Ravi to find out more.
